Singapore and Australia
Hi Everyone,
Hope that you're all well. We've been slack, as usual, but finally, here are some photos of our trip to Singapore and Australia. If you want more pics, we'll see what we can do.
We went to Dublin last weekend, and that was really good too. We'll try to get those photos up soon.
Anyway, here are the pics, so enjoy!
Tram at the Le Meridian hotel in Singapore where we stayed. Very nice, and relatively cheap.
We went to visit the Botanical Gardens after having a quick look on Orchard Road. Singapore has the worlds largest collection of orchids... pretty.... : )
Here's some
Me and a weird tree with a mini vine thing all over it
Tram with lots of nice, white orchids
Another tree, this time with lots of writing on it. People had scratched their name and messages into it...
Some woman in china town managed to convince us to have a reflexology session. We were very reluctant so she dropped the price heaps... hmm. It was very interesting. Kind of painful, actually, but this bit was fun. After the foot spa, they massaged our feet, very hard.
A street in China Town. Lots of really nice food.......
mmmm... noodly things
Hindi temple. They have lots of many-armed statues, cow statues, and drum hitting and ... long wind instrument blowing. It was interesting. You had to be there.
Outside the temple... This tower on the gate was very detailed and colourful.
And all the way from Singapore, to Sydney. Jeremy and Ashley took me to Darling Harbour for some nice Pancakes. The night before we went to a 2 hat restaurant, which means it's very good aparently. It certainly cost a lot... but yeah, the food was good.
Back in Brissie... having dinner with Kellie and Nick (soon to be married), Steve, Mum and John.
Visiting my Dad and Grandma. We all went to have curry, and then the next night we went to the Leagues club. Pokies are fun, but expensive when you have bad luck like me. Dad did pretty well though!
Melina and Trevor's pad. Melina cooked us up a storm in their new house. Here's a photo of the gang.
Steve, Helen, Me and Tram
And finally, after our 2 weeks, we're off again. Brisbane International Airport, with Than, Tri, and my Dad. Bye bye Brisbane, until we meet again.
Comments
About time for an update!
Good photos, although the quality of the one at Melina's house is shocking, looks like it was a good one though, with a bit of cropping!
oh, my computer decided to start working again - yay.
