Venice

I hope everyone had a lovely christmas and new years. We had a great time in Paris and Scotland. But here are our photos of Venice. We would also like to say a big thank you to Michelle for showing us around Venice and for letting us stay in the apartment. You would make an excellent tour guide!! Enjoy the photos and remember to write lots of comments. :) Love Tram and Paul Once again I hope the new year brings you all lots of joy and happiness.

The beautiful city of Venice

Our tour guide and friend Michelle. This was the not so pretty part of Venice but it was still very pretty.

Paul and I on our first gondola ride across the grand canal. It was only 50 Euro Cents.

Michelle and I on one of the many bridges walking to our apartment.

One of the many little alleys...We would have been totally lost if it were not for Michelle.

The view from our apartment.

This is the markets on the Rialto Bridge.

The markets were very cool and its even more special because its on a bridge.

Paul at San Marco. It looks very impressive by daylight.

Pigeon man. Michelle calls them Kamikaze pigeons.

Michelle and I with the view of the harbor.

I love this picture of the clothes being hung out to dry.

Michelle and I and the wooden bridge.

This is a door frame with an actually number on it. I wonder who lives here.

Its Paul on a bridge with a gondola going underneath it.

Its me on another bridge.

The shop displays in Venice are stunning.

This is in a court yard, which was part of an art gallery and shop.

Paul and I on the wooden bridge.

Gondola races. Did you know that you can only be gondola guy if you're father was one and you are male.

Two gondolas passing each other on the grand canal.

Me and some performing artist.

Gondola traffic jam!!

Michelle and I overlooking the bridge that Casanova walked over when he went to prison. Its a bridge from the court house to the dungeon. We were wondering what happens when you are in the dungeon and it floods. Do they leave you to die?

This photo you can actually see the gondola guy. Michelle knew some of them. hehe.

This is an Island where every house is painted a different color. I would want to paint my house pink.

Doesn't it look cool. Its just so happy and cheerful.

The bell tower is just leaning just a little bit.
