1. Has this taught me anything new and valuable? (If not, move on quickly)
Maybe. Car ownership and even licence grants is dropping quickly in the US (and possibly also in Australia - maybe to a lesser extent?) Apparently this is because younger people prefer to stay online as much as possible and you can't do that while you're driving. Is that actually useful to know though? Maybe. It might be worth knowing about Hugo, or for future strategy for my taking-over-the-world plans? :)

2. How can I apply insights from this article today? (Wait and I’ll forget)
I can't

3. When have I applied the ideas from this post? Where have I not, but could have? (What was the difference?)
Not really relevant - I have a car and a licence. I do pretty much treat driving as purely an exercise to get from point A to B though. I suppose that I have lately been attempting to make my commute more useful be listening to podcasts and audio books. That's not _really_ the point of the article though. The point is that it will help Obama hit his carbon reduction targets more easily than it would have if, say, we were still in the year 1990.
