I played indoor netball again tonight, and this time my wife got roped in as well :) It was another fun game. This time I played Goal Defence, so it was slightly different. I think that I did just as much running as the first game though, which probably means that I'm not really playing the position properly. Oh well, doesn't matter I guess, as long as I don't let too many goals through because I was in the wrong place! We actually had a draw in the end, so it was a really close game.

Thins I need to work on:

  • Actually marking the right player
  • How to defend in the goal square
  • Getting my passes a bit sharper
  • Fitness - although I think touch footy has definitely helped there

The humidity was a real killer. Took me quite a while to cool down at the end of the game. It was great fun, and I really recommend giving it a go if you get a chance.
